   It’s cool and unique, but I wouldn’t worry about it taking over everywhere else. The feeling of stacks of chips in front of people is enough to make this a rare thing. I think Excalibur now has something that people will come try and beginners will love, but when they’re all grown up they will move on to bigger better things. Nobody should worry about this.

   Good. I’m glad the feedback is negative.
   I’m sorry, but adding a player in front of you with this system doesn’t make it anymore live than playing online. I’m 26 and been playing semi-professionally for 5 years. 2/5 and 5/10 NL. The way a person counts their chips, places their bets, says “Raise” or “fold” are all part of tells they give. Now all they have to do is point and touch screen their bets, folds, calls.

   I pray to God this doesn’t proliferate beyond the lower limits.

   So are players generally for or against robotic dealers.

   I think this is crazy. Theres no way the public is going to accept this. Technology will move things forward but some things are just not meant to be replaced. Casinos, especially the ones in Vegas better keep things traditional or they will end up screwing themselves over.

   “Why would they come to Las Vegas to play internet poker?”

   - “Internet poker” is played on the internet. PokerPro (electronic poker) is played at a casino with live people, just like any other casino poker room.

   - No one goes to vegas to play internet poker. They go to the internet.

   Way to confuse people with equating internet poker with electronic poker. You make no sense.

   - Live 10 person games, Faster poker, no dealer mistakes, no tips, low rake, casino saves costs, sounds good!!

   “Why would they come to Las Vegas to play internet poker?” I’m glad they kept that line in there. I was the interviewee. Thanks for posting this. I saw the news segments from earlier in the day, but I missed this one. They filmed my part at my house on Saturday, and it aired monday. From what I can tell, the word on the street continues to be overwhelmingly negative. Dark day for Vegas poker.
